Our field is full of rapidly growing blueberries and black raspberries. More flowers blooming everyday. Our new veggies garden is growing strong, but the cool, wet weather has set us back a bit. The vegetable selection is a little thin. We always recommend calling ahead to make sure of product availabilities.
We want everyone to have a safe and enjoyable time at our farm. There are a few things to remember when you come. **Our entire farm is a smoke-free environment. **What To Bring:A hat, sunscreen, drinking water (we sell bottled spring water in the shop), and containers to take your blueberries home. **We have a nice, shady parking area. Please observe the signs and do not drive past the designated area. **Please leaving your pets at home. Besides our little Westie, Tildy we now have a rather large puppy named Taser. He is a black Sheprador. They will likely bark a friendly greeting to you, and if you let them, they will become your friends. They love to be petted and Judy has treats for them in the shop. If you want to give them one, just ask the shop attendant. Tildy will get in your car if you leave the doors open, so please be sure you do not take her home with you. Although Taser looks like an adult dog, he is definitely still a growing and learning puppy. We’ve trained him no t to jump on people, but occasionally he still does. A firm, “OFF” usually reminds him of his good manners. We are never far from the dogs, so if you are concerned about getting out of your car, toot your horn and we will come to help you meet Taser. **We love to see kids enjoy our farm. Please keep your children with you and help them become good pickers, too. We have some toys near the blueberries, which your kids are welcome to play with. We just ask that you bring the toys back to where your kids found them. **Try to pick carefully, only the blue blueberries are ready. Please try not to pick the green ones. **All our black raspberries are tasty but only the black ones are ripe, the red ones are not. **Restrooms: We have a port-a-let available, and there is water-less hand sanitizer in the port-o-let. **Please take all your personal items and any trash you generate home with you. **Disabilities: Our field is very flat and easily accessible by walker or wheelchair. We also allow special, on field parking for those who need it, just ask us at check-in. We are happy to help. **For everyone’s safety we allow picking in the rain, but not during thunderstorms. **We accept cash, most credit cards, or a good check with ID.
